Failed Water Heater in the Attic Causes it to Rain in Kitchen

9/26/2022 (Permalink)

Water falling from the ceiling with a bald man in a black polo stands near trying to aid. This isn't something you see every day but we are equipped to help resolve this quickly!

While hot water heaters clear up living space being placed in attics, when they fail it causes severe water damage to the rooms underneath. In this case it seemed to be raining in several rooms for this Flower Mound resident.

Thank you to local State Farm Agent Tony Jones for reaching out to our team in order to assist his insured with their emergency services. Our crew was onsite fast to begin the restoration process and reduce as much additional damage as possible.  We were able to walk the customer through the process, explain the next steps, and review what they can expect over the next few days.

Receiving a call from a local agent means a lot to our team. Knowing that they trust us to take care of their clients reminds us that we are doing a good job. Our franchise works all over the metroplex however, it's always special when it's at home in our community!

Texas Weather is Unpredictable

If you are from Texas you never know what the weather will bring each week. We experienced the hottest July on record since 2011 stretching 21 days of triple digit temperatures while also being the second longest stretch of consecutive days without rainfall at 58! Fast forward to mid August and we now have the wettest August on record with 10.38 inches of rain in one day!

You can imagine the effects this had on residential and commercial properties including this business in Los Colinas, Texas. Water was pouring from the ceiling in multiple areas of the property causing damage to adjacent rooms. We were able to locate where the water was coming from and informed building maintenance. Over 200 air movers were placed to help restore this property!

Mother Nature can be unpredictable but our team is always prepared to help in emergency situations such as these.
